Are you currently working on a new book or series?
Absolutely. The Crowned Mystic, Book One in the Royal Insights series, is available now, and The Crowned Mystic: Hunted continues Elena and Alexei’s story in Book Two.
Book Three, The Crowned Mystic: Endgame, releases September 29, 2026, and is currently available for preorder.
Lauren is also developing a new urban fantasy trilogy filled with magic, danger, impossible choices, and a touch of romance.
Are your books available on audio or Audible?
Not yet. If any of Lauren’s titles become available in audiobook format, the news will be shared through the newsletter and social channels.
Where do your story ideas come from?
Many begin with imagination, but inspiration can come from almost anywhere: a conversation, an experience, a question, a dream, or even a passing moment that sparks the beginning of a character or world.

What scenes are the hardest for you to write?
Humor. Lauren’s family insists she isn’t that funny—despite laughing at her constantly. Every once in a while, though, she likes to think she lands a good one.
Do your books contain explicit spice?
Lauren intentionally writes closed-door romance, focusing on emotional connection, slow-building tension, banter, longing, and the small moments that make relationships feel meaningful.
